I need mods to Maxtor 6L250S0 (Dmax 10 SATA1), fw: BANC1G10, N,M,C,A, AAB; PCB code: R4GLA.

I got:
Maxtor 6L160M0-BANC1G10-L396R7QG
It may not work.
The last number is the serial number which is very important.
You need to match the first 4 or 5 digits.

I have this pack too, but it is for a different PCB. 160M0 have only 8MB ram, the 250S0 have 16MB (S) Is it important?

My drive is: 6L250S0-BANC1G10-L595NKFH
