I have recieved about 500 pcs of U8 and U10 crap most of the drives i have are clicking about 90% of them , i have gone crazy figuring out what is the problem with them .
Please help me out if someone has experience with them ,tell me U8 and U10 clicking what are the problems : <most of the times>
1) Firmware
2) Heads
3) Alignment
4) PCB .

What's the possibility waht the whole container of these 500 ps. was dropped? :)
You can figure out what could happened if it was dropped

Hello. I agree with you pepe.... It's an old type of seagate isn't it? and it's about their age to get rest don't you think? :lol:

Thanks for the input the container was not damaged anyhow thats for sure .

Which do u think is the most PCB or HEADS ?

Well,

U8 can easily joke with U when FW versions do not match... so I would rather say nothing as I have seen tricky things with U8.

Yes i totally agree with u as i have worked with many drives now .
In my opinion these are the worst hdd manufactured by seagate .
