Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

I accidentally overwrote the firmware on my Fujitsu MHV2040AH laptop drive with the firmware for a V60 Fujitsu drive (I guess I should read the HP website a little more carefully).
Does anyone have a fix for this or have the orginal firmware for this drive?
HP was absolutely no help.
Fujitsu is looking into it - they didn't immediately find the firmware.
Thanks for any assistance.

even if we give u the fw u wont be able to write it back on the drive because it requires special tools that cannot be found free .
