Just this morning, i noticed that my C drive was getting low on disk space. From 26gb free to less than a gig free. I restarted the computer thinking that it was just a bug. When i restarted, it was back to 26gb free. But the problem is that I am still losing space like before! It seems to be some kind of temporary space eating thing. Can anyone help me? BTW, the problem is only in my C drive.

Swap file? Make it a static size, and see if that takes care of it.

Hi, you can't delete the swapfile it's one of windows necesary files.
You can change the settings here: Rightclick on "this computer" chose properties, chose Advanced, then on settings in the performance area, then Advanced, then the virtuell "box" click change, then if you have for example 512mb ram you put the the lower value to 768mb, and the higher to 1536mb...or click in that windows will handle the swapfile.

Regards/ Bosse

You may also use Process Monitor from Sysinternals (now Microsoft Technet) and check who does all those write requests.
