I have four hard drive in RAID 0 config. I want to get each hard drive's info, such as Rev., Model, and Serial Number. When I run hwinfo in SLAX, it gave me RAID config's model instead of the physical hard drive's model. So I need to clear the RAID config first, and then check the real hard drive. But the problem is, after I clear RAID and reboot, I couldn't find the hard drives in /dev/ any more. Could anyone give me a hand? Many thanks.

Hi,

What type of raid do you used?
SW or HW?
On hw raid, usually impossible to get these infos.
On SW raid, you can use smartctl to read the SMART tables. ;)

Janos
