A professional with many years of DR experience would NOT have performed platterswap on a clicking HDD. Head Replacement would have worked fine.

Maybe your acquaintance simply got lucky this time. :)



I smell BS. Also don't 500 GB maxtors have spacers so SD product would be useless?
