This was not me 'laughing', simply observing facts. There was a time when even the best of us did not have certain facts, or information. Introduce research, time, money, dedication and hard work and this allows us to develop the knowledge.

But i am sure you could teach us all a thing or two, you obviously have such extensive knowledge..... :lol:

Sounds like damage control to me. In any case, BlackST disappeared for a long time almost immediately after that thread. It looked to me like his oversized ego had suffered an irreparable head crash.

As for teaching you something, that is always possible, assuming that "gurus" don't believe that they already know everything. In fact I have done just that in a recent SMART thread. Furthermore, I have worked with colleagues much less academically qualified than myself, at least on paper. However they taught me a great deal. They were my unselfish tutors, and I was their willing student. Every time I think of them I am grateful for their generosity and patience.

Thats twice i know of now that you have rummaged through archived topics trying to find some way to unsuccessfully attempt to criticise or prove worthless points.

When I make a point, I don't make it in isolation. Unlike the "gurus", I believe that I need to support my statements with references. Even then I know that I will be wrong, perhaps not infrequently. In fact, I may spend some productive time searching through my old posts, correcting those errors which have eluded scrutiny by those more knowledgable than myself. My ego is robust enough to withstand the embarrassment.

As for having too much time, I retired many years ago. I now devote my remaining years to helping people, including two who are directly dependent upon me. That's my real world.
