not on this drive, but in another one that have only one platter and a scratch on top surface i would like to modify the nvram.
i think i get the position of head map in nvram, i saved 01 into 00 but ... still i miss something.

hi i made alignment reference in another place. you really want to try to recover this drive? pm me..


I have a lot of techniques for hitachi, i can do almost anything magic on this drive.
I have made partial successfull recovery from similar condition drives before...

Well, i can try, if the case is really important and the client have tonns of money for his data. :)
