BTW I had a 2tb a little while ago. Close problems. No sector access some modules screwed. Got a good hot swap donor , fixed up the mods need fixin , recalculated the translator and still aborts on all sectors. Then ,on a whim, i ran the PC3ks 1 button solution to solve slow responding problem. And suddenly it worked =) Might wanna take a look into what that thing does. Clears up some garbage with pending bads i think.

Mostly the slow responding solution applies only to cases where sectors can be read, but is good to know it worked in your case

I was talking to Yaroslav from Deepspar after , he was as surprised as me =) But , hey it did work =) Although like i said i DID have to fix up some modules manually before that =)
