yes a new drive the one you have is bad now. I got a new battery for my truck today now it starts without being jumped off.
A new HDD is cheaper than the battery ! :shock:

so im reading all these threads (posts) and no one seems to be addressing the general idea here. even though a boat with a hole in it will eventually sink, can you keep dumping the water out with a bucket ? ( and prolong the inevidble sinking ?) im wondering who has acctually taken a hdd apart and studied all aspects to see if there really is a quick fix ...no matter what the cost ?\
