I have a wd disk that sounds exactly like that. And it's a breather cartridge. Furthermore the disk in the video makes noise when shaken in one axis only. if the spindle cracked it would sound even worse. It sounds like plastic on metal.

But hey! Who's to say with any certainty..? The disk should be opened for inspection prior to power-up.
