WD10TMVV platters alignment

Internal problem. Spindle is jammed. Pro has to open and investigate why exactly.

+1 , OR :

- drive dropped and heads stuck (be prepared to see damage on media

- drive dropped or not dropped but heads stuck.

Forget the PCB unless "you know something we don't know".

drive is not dropped, using it for a long time, just stop working, just usual use.

Then this is odd - can be everything : from a seized motor, to heads in non-parking position, to electronic failure...

if is problem with seized motor, can i just rotate it until it gets easy spin? will be platters alignmented?
