But I used the same HD on a oldest Asus MoBo oldest (DDR2) and usually recognized and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 without SP1.

I run the ntfsfix (ntfs3g) and now I can see and open my partition again, the Ubuntu recognizes the 3 TB, the problem is that some folders and files are not visible, but the properties shows that I'm using 2.7 TB and available only 7.5 GB .

When I reboot and enter on Windows, appears the chkdsk, so what can I do now?

Run the chkdsk?
Try other tools to recovery my data?

On Windows the partition continues like RAW, but on Ubuntu this accessible.

I run the GetDataBack Simples and show only 746 GB, but show to me folders and files that Ubuntu don't show...

On Ubuntu I see some folders and files and not on GetDataBack, on GetDataBack I can see folders and files and not on Ubuntu.

I know the all the folders and files still on HD, but how to see the others 2 TB?

@petabyte85, I would not attempt to repair your file system, nor would I write to your drive. Doing so will only exacerbate the damage, or at least complicate it.

colanco's suggestion to install your drive in a USB enclosure should force Windows to use a different driver (USB mass storage controller). That said, be aware that some older enclosures have 32-bit LBA limits in their firmware. Also be aware that some enclosures are configured with 4KB sector sizes rather than 512 bytes.

The fact that R-Studio encounters an I/O error at the 745GiB point confirms that there is still a fundamental problem in your system. You must resolve this issue before you can hope to recover your data.

You can see the correct sector range for a 4TB drive in the top left corner (0 - 7814037167). Can you show us a similar screenshot?
