I understand. I was trying to avoid going online and using a credit card, for security reasons. I scan regularly for rootkits and keyloggers but when you purchase anything online you can never be sure how the company you are dealing with stores your credit data. Some of them are small operations who have little security in place. Even banks can be dodgy with online transactions.

Confirmed that with Victoria last night. Showed 171 hard, unrecoverable errors. Most are at the front of the platters where my FAT partition resides. There are only one or two in the latter part of the disk where NTFS partition resides.
I would like to find a good manual for Victoria. I see a 'Recover' feature on the screen but have no idea how to use it. I will also check with MHDD.
