Data recovery and disk repair questions and discussions related to old-fashioned SATA, SAS, SCSI, IDE, MFM hard drives - any type of storage device that has moving parts

I would not call research grabbing vscs while some commercial tool works on the drive. It is just stealing the VSCs others researched.
Which I also did for own stuff in some cases but not for getting credits on a forum by disclosing them...
Call me greedy, but research takes time, i must feed hungry mouths and i respect others who do research (research != stealing VSCs) generally. It is the ultra liberal thinking that says all info should be free, and the world is getting drown in the ultra liberal shit.
do u want me to upload my seagate unlocking sw to hddguru files too?
it took trillions of hours to get that knowledge, isn't it fair I would like some income in compensation for that? It is just one example. And others who researched all that info should get their stuff too, but the info is thrown away by such people begging for bitcoins for what they never worked for.
This is what makes me blaaah...
The fact is that 90% of my posts were helping somebody in the past when fzabkar was nowhere near hddguru. But i do not have that much time anymore. And today's drive failures are somewhat more complex, it is often not possible to teach somebody how to get around the problem and it would not be very good either (we already had some talk about this i think).
I pay workers to do my house and others pay me to recover drives. and it is just fine that way. I will not learn how to build a house and will not teach the workers how to do DR. Better if everybody does his own job and not stick his nose into others'.

I've just used that info with the HRT ATA terminal to apply the same principals to newer drives.
Sorry, it looked like some predefined command in whatever sw ( i do not use hrt, have no idea how it looks like).
In that case i have to apologize.
I was well aware of Nazyura's tool but not those logs.
