I have the same problem, my Seagate Barracuda 7200.9 ST3300622A 300 Gb is giving me the same problem clicking and in terminal gives
Head Mask FFFF every time it clicks. I read different forums, and found that the head needs to be cleaned.
Does anyone knows how to clean heads and how to find out which one to clean?

don you think we should just send it back to seagate for repair or hopfully replacement with new one under warranty ? let me know anyways if you found an easier way to clean the heads! thanks :!:
