The HDD Oracle has been down for quite some time.

Here is a copy of the first defunct URL:
http://forums.seagate.com/t5/Desktop-HD ... m-p/118568ISTM that the preamp in the 120GB drive is faulty. I'm assuming that the resistance was measured at the HDA terminals, not the PCB terminals.
