Hi I've got a Lacie Rugged 250GB + Sonnet Fusion 4-tray SATA caddy with FW+USB. Had troubles last night plugging my Lacie into another computer and then the FW400 port on it stopped working, with the FW800 still ok. This morning I tried plugging it into another computer via FW400 and it wouldn't show up. Then I plugged it into the spare FW800 port of my Sonnet Fusion (with was plugged into the FW800 port of my desktop) and bang! all disks disappeared and have since refused to mount or even be detected by various disk repair softwares. The Lacie disk still spins when I plug it into the computer. I have had similar problems already which I solved by resetting the computer's PMU and if that didn't help by putting the disks into new caddies. But replacing both the Lacie and the Sonnet caddie would be rather expensive. Are there any tricks for resetting the power management on the disks themselves, or any other tricks for bringing them back to life? Thanks!
