Hello, I have used previous versions of MHDD without any problems. I wanted to try the new MHDD 3 but it seems that when I select a device, I am asked for an unlocking code. I read through all the english documentation and have changed cfg values and chaged them back again. I have tried everything I can think of. How do I unlock this?

I think you have NOT read the doc.

Bastard, oh but I have. Perhaps these instructions were left out of the english docs?
if there is some doubt as to my reading them, i could type them here for you. Perhaps you could be a little more specific on which doc contains your "secret answer". Quite a childish tactic if you ask me. I have used this program for a year now and have never had a problem with it, until now.

Activation instructions are in MHDD_EN.rtf.
They are hidden, to find them you need to read WHOLE (my god! 4kbytes!) doc.

there's no need to patronize me... I have told you, I read the docs. Perhaps that doc is not in the file I downloaded from your site.
(my god! not there!)

I have read all of the english files from this directory and it is not there.

If you are suggesting that this file be read using the rtf reader on the disk, good luck. I can't use the disk at all. It is locked.
I mean, if it will satisfy you, I can paste the contents of all the files on the disk here.
Is there some reason you're making me hunt for your childish "secret answer" when I have told you I have read these docs repeatedly?

Ok, now I see. The problem is that these files are from old version of MHDD.
(and how did you extracted the package? hm...)

Maybe download the another version? I found the activation rather easy to understand
