 Post subject: Seagate 200Gb and Maxtor...the same?

Hi all,
i wonder if Seagate Barracuda 200 Gb (7200.9, ST3200827AS, P/N 9BD13E-065, Firmware 3.AAE) and Maxtor DiamondMax 21 200 Gb (STM3200820AS, p/n 9dp13f, firmware 3.aae ) are the same hdd.
What is the meaning of P/N xxxxx ?

They are not really the same drive. I would not recommend using one for parts for the other.
