 Post subject: 2 ST31000340AS 1TB are Invalid Warranty Products ?

please someone help me here i have 2 seagate ST31000340AS 1TB when i check for Warranty Status at seagate website i get message says ' Invalid Warranty Products' its only 6 month old how come ?

both are not working they do not power up so i need to rma but no valid warranty.

Maybe someone here can give you a number, Im sure there are engineers here from seagate. Or alternatively, is there a US numbher that can be called?

I know maxtor were based there, but not so sure if Seagate stayed there when they bought maxtor

Location: uk
Seagate warranty claims I think are handled through the centre in Holland. You can phone them. UK customers can send their rma items to the collection centre in Derby.
