Hitachi Deskstar HDS722516VLAT80 not spinning

Hi All

i have the above drive which does not spin at all, i have inspected it for seizure and this is all fine. When attahced to the pc3000 i get the message cant load NVRAM,

i suspect my issue to be here, but dont have the nescessary files, does anybody have these files for this drive that they can please send me
other details on the drive are
capacity 164.7GB
PN 08k1880
mlc H71474

sounds like your nvram or pcb are damaged. have you tried swapping with another one?

sadly i dont have another board to compare it with, i am tryig to source one, i have checked the board for signs of overheating or shorts with multimeter, or any kind of damage all seems to be ok, 5, 12 v lines all ok also.

Hy crecomp tried to check hex codes from u NVRAM patient

I will try and check as pointed out , I am not too sure exactly what to look for so will try and compare with similar drive which is the 80gb as opposed to 160gb same family.
Can I collect the nvram data and post for analysis

Tried on first the header, some times on a NVRAM corrupted its easy to check it thats the first point to start
