I am looking to borrow or buy the pcb board for a seagate 500 gb 7200.9. My hard drive touched
the case and fried a chip. If anyone can recommend a temporary fix I would greatly appreciate it.
I will either return immediately after my data is recovered I will pay you £20 to just hire it, if someone will let me borrow one.

post a picture of the PCB.
probably just a bad TVS, you can remove it and use the drive long enough to get your data off.
