HW - SW is an abbreviation for HardWare - Software. What this refers to is specialised hardware to access your media, with a software frontend to perform actions and operations, and to give a visual representation of what you are doing.

Depending on the model hard disk, you can try salvation data, may be the cheapest option for you.

It will be cheaper to pay the copier company their very high price for a lower capacity drive than it would be to have one of us modify the drive. Contact your copier's sales department. Alternatively, buy a used drive of this model.

PC3000 starts at $10,000.
