Model:Samsung SP2514N ,250GB ,7200,8M, PATA.
After the drive fallen down is from External Lacie Box the moter stack (like Seagate External Drive Cases).
The problem is how i can remove the platters from the drive , because i have 2 platters with one aluminum divider inside.
Take a look at below pics and you can understand

The other way is to remove the moter (but until now i don't have that tool)
Thanks in advance

By opening it, you already contaminated the platters. You can see lots of dust and a possible finger print in the pics. Close it up and send it to a pro if its worth anything.

This problem was encountered previously by sempre or other member of this forum (as I recall). The solution I can think of , is the same as handling Seagate multi platters with spacer, use SD platter extractor tool and modify a little and with some creativity to maintain the alignment of lower and upper cylinders.

U can also remove the platters one by one and realign them in the new chassis, but this is very hard to do.
I have developed a much better solution than the SD toolset but I won't disclose it on an open forum of course.

From my experience Samsungs of that model are easy even with platters transplant
If you are a pro you should know how to deal with drives with separators
But apparently you are not

2 platters could not be extracted at a time to the drive. thats why, mis alignment is seems going on. Its a complex case, not easy.

Shahij... even 4 platters CAN be extracted together without loosing alignment.... of course it depends on the tool and on who is doing the job. Trust me ;)

Ya, agree.
But, I m telling about the specific drive where divider (aluminium) is placed between platters. Please re look on the drive pictures.

@shahij :

First, Imagine the drive without the aluminium divider. Now extracting those platters become easy.... :D

How ? You will figure it out, friend.
