I've dealed with comuter hardware for many years, but haven't seen such strange things happening!
Well, all began from installing a new videocard in Computer1:
m\b ASUS i965 , proc 6320 4gb ram gf8800 without outer pci-e power supply connector samsung 120gb spinpoint hdd sata 1 7200rpm seagate 200gb sata2 7200rpm seagate 640gb sata2 7200rpm 400w hipro power supply
So, I installed a new video card ASUS EN9600GSO Magic with external pci-e power connector and booted OS. When I heard strange noise from HDD I started diskcheckup and saw that Raw Read Error Rate, Seek Error Rate and Hardware ECC Recovered are in very high values (more that 1000000). I switched off Computer 1, unplugged 640Gb hdd to take it home and plugged in an old video card - but when the system started, I saw that the SMART values raised again an all HDDs.
Then I plugged my 640Gb Seagate in my home Computer2:
ASUS nf570sli with 4600x2 4Gb RAM gf7900 512b with external pci-e power connector 550w ASUS PSU HDD samsung spinpoint: 400Gb sata2 and 1Tb sata2
And what a surprise - when I plugged it in all my hdd's began to produce starnge noise (as in Computer1) and their SMART values also raised and continue to raise every second!
Please help me to solve the problem!
