I have two WD drive that has the power-up in standby bug, where when you enable it, you cannot disable it again, because then the drive says "its not supported"
Right now I have one drive that is enabled, and the other disabled, both came from HP computer and is the same/identical.
Is there any way to copy the SA data from the good one to the bad one directly to fix the problem? (without using pc3000 etc)
the linux turn_off_poweron_in_standby-1.01 works.. , but hdparm does not. maybe if I can buy a motherboard supports Power-up in standby would be better, but I searched the web for it but can't find any mb (lga775)
