Hi All,

Anybody getting Dell branded Toshiba MK8052GSX (Dell P/N WT149) drives recently? I have 2 at the moment with what seems like G-List corruption, however UDMA does not support this family yet.

Also had one last week with head problems, but a head swap didn't work - amazing eh? Normally these are the easiest drives to work with, but this has some level of media damage seemingly.

Could toshiba be following the route of seagate?!

Toshiba are good drives, it's the users bad. P.s. Why don't you work out some time on these drives ? Why wait UDMA?

I've had some with apparent media corruption. I think I was able to clear G-List without much improvement.

@BlackST....I would if I had time, but time is money as you know.

Normally these drives are good and nice to work with, but I've noticed some media issues with the larger capacity disks.
