Samsung HD161hj PCB trouble

February 19th, 2009, 9:40

Hello all i have a samsung hd161hj with the date code 2008.06. The drive clicks when powered and if the pcb is swapped the donor clicks the same. However i do not have a compatible board to put on my clients drive. Is there any way to force and older pcb to be compatible as the pcb has no rom chip.

Thank you all
