SAMSUNG 40GB HDD showing unreadable

Hi
it was 100% working when i put it at safe place but after 6 months iam reataching it shows it is unreadable i have lots imp data in it

i dont know may be its sectors r bad now.....nd i dont have money to...get it fix pls tell any solution

Go to a computer shop, if the drive is really broken let us know.

Since it is shown (at least) as Disk0, I think it may be a partition problem. Try any partition rebuilding software...

Physically but not mentally? Meaning a logical problem or a firmware problem? Is it correctly identified in the device manager?

No need to laugh guys. The author may have written just about himself by mistake, instead of the drive.

Check hdd with MHDD and post log here .
