Fujitsu Recovery Question

February 22nd, 2009, 19:51

Hi,

I'm in the forensic side and still a new one for the physical data recovery. What do you guys use for the Fujitsu Hard Drive Recovery? Anyone had any issues with MHX2300BT drives?

Also, how do you tell if you have an alignment issue with the platters? I have one drive that spins up, heads will try to read things but eventually stops near the edge and make a high pitch tone and the drive won't get recognized.

thanks!!

Not so sure about the high pithed tone. Fujitsu drives are crap as far as I have seen.
