WD Marvell family manual start selftest

PCI3K or winhex hex mode
1:ID 2# offset=1d0 fourth byte "02" change to "01" （checksum writer）

2:ID 28# 00ffset =10 ninth byte "18 or 19 or 1?" change to "01" （checksum writer）


#02 mod is on/off for selftest
#28 mod is WD selftest table

*stop selftest please send "software reset" to hard disk


WD Marvell selftest mod (DC,B1,C4,EE,DA,DD,DB,D5,D4,D3,D2,EE,D6,D7,BB,B9,BA,)

Just a question : have you always seen #28 OK or did you experience either broken SS test tables / mods (SS when started is not successful or exit with errs.) ? In that case (i.e. refurb) ?

#28 "1X" change to "01"
please checksum writer

see LED and Hard disk sound
or
"software reset" stop selftest see #28 continue run please change #02


start selftest before please clean #E6 selftest LOG

"see LED and Hard disk sound" i want to know how to make the LED. cause SATA have no the PIN as the IDE hard disk. can you tell me?
