MHN2100AT 810-7255 - arrived making slight click,scratch - no detection.
found following modules faulty :
In HDA: 07SI, 29SH, 2DFA
In RAM: 01DM, 03TS, 07SI, 0CSM, 0DSU, 2DFA, 32WE
Found 029SH either not used or not readable in other good MHN drives.
Well, it was easy to write necessary modules and drive detects - all correct.
Used good modules from MHN2100AT 910-7255
Also read a module 21h - 33.m with FJT ??? who is this ??
Now the reading of blocks is very, very slow - but reads.
Adapatives ??
Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated.
btw. 03TS does not report correctly, but found this to be the case with good working drives.

To mfast or carlos cantero,
Any of you guys care to explain me - and maybe mikestor too
-
How can you diagnose a 2.5" hdd firmware??. If it is a program, please name it, if it is by the use of ata commands, give us some light
Any help will be welcome
(PS- To Carlos cantero: i haven't private mailed you yet, but feel free to PM me as i want to exchange information, not just ask for it - i have a good rom/ldr/module database, good experence with maxtor / fujitsu and i am a begginer in quantum / wd / ibm firmware issues). I really do not know nothing about 2.5" hdd firmware restoration.
Regards to all of you,

Well I found the solution, no thanks to anyone.
I can say it was not adaptives, which were matched :;):
It seems that questions outnumber answers 10:1 here.
So goodbye all I am outa here for good.
