Hello all,

I need help with pc3000 and IBM deskstar. I copied the ldr of a good exact drive, but pc3000 will not allow me to upload it to the bad drive. The drive makes noise like it is accessing the firmware, and then head knocks, over and over again.

yes, i did a head swap with an exact drive no change in condition.

using loader wrong idea, this is ibm not quantum ;)

ibm loader make change in firmware, not good method to start repair...
