Hi,

I have a Seagate 3TB external that was used for backups. Now I can only see 362 GB of the drive. The rest of the sectors are gone.. Strange hey?
I contacted a company that specialize in drive FW problems, They did not find any problems on the unit.
Any Idea what I can do?

:?

If they didn't find any problem, were they able to get your missing data and put on another drive ? Did you ask them to do so or just a diagnose? (could be a simple logical problem or hpa or config - if they are right)

Could you elaborate? Have you tried any HD diagnostic tools?
