WD Files corrupted

I have WD5000aaks-00yga drive,

I could see all files and folders via DE but only some files from a folder could be opened correctly, all other files are not opened , I mean are corrupted, I started to make a copy to another drive to see what is happening, it copies normally except that there are some sectors that are marked with black in DE Map window, not green or red, I noticed that all files before the first black sector are opened normally, all other files are opened corrupted, I think we should add those defects and correct the translator, is it true?, if yes, how can I add defects , in DE I could know onlyLBA, how to know Cylinder head and number of the sector from LBA, because in the utility we could add defect by cylinder and head.

Please help

Are you sure, the drive have good working heads, and the surface is not damaged?

No, not true unless you want to lose your data. Try re-generating translator just using current p-list.
