I am trying to source donor heads for a
st3160023as FW: 3.42 Site: WU. I have exhausted all of my normal sources, so now I am looking for options. I remember reading a post a while ago by Sean about other methods of donor selection. I am guessing that the other option is matching the preamp and physical configuration of the heads. If that is the case, do you guys have any advice on what to search for before I start ripping open a couple hundred drives? If the third digit of the SN refers to the head configuration, how can I narrow down the preamp? Site Code? Thanks in advance!
