Hello,
I need help, I'm using Seagate 120GB PATA hard disk.
When I connect the hard disk to the Mainboard, the CPU cannot turn ON.
I already try with other pc.

I need to recover the data.

What is the root cause of the hard disk failure?
Can i just change the PCB?

I think you have a short circuit in your hdd pcb. Check if there's any burnt mark.

Disagree!

Plese don't suggest anything when you don't know what you are saying!
In this mode, the pcb swap is not enough.

Withyou..

As N.C. said,
Please don't suggest anything when you don't know the hell about it. With one wrong move, and the rest of the drive can easily be friend.

To Zack,
In this seagate model, a simple PCB swap very unlikely to work. You should rather check the continuity at the TVS diode, and remove the bridging.
