CE-ATA Adaptors Available?

July 17th, 2009, 4:32

I've been doing quite a bit of Googling for information about any adaptors that may be available to allow the connection of a Samsung HS161JQ either through IDE or eSata to my PC. I'm not having much luck!

This is an 1.8" HDD, and the connector features from what i can could about 18 pins. The size of this connector is smaller than other ZIF type connections i've seen on other 1.8" HDDs.

Material i've seen does mention the drive was specifically created for iPods, but i'm wondering if there's a way i can connect it to my PC and MAC?

Thanks,

Timbo

They don't have the part. That drive uses mmc data lines. No commercial adapter out there
