I while back I wrote something about gentle CO2 cleaning, as well as use of various engineered fluids and solvents. I got numerous responses and inquiries and though some have used the engineered fluids, most seem to use plain IPA and DI . As one who studied Chemical Engineering, I tend to prefer the best in Chemical solvents, so I use only solvent specifically made for cleaning platters and HSA. I would like to know what other DR companies use (brand/size) for cleaning. I am currently using Foamtek's Ultrasolve 1900 series and can recommend them, and have not tried any other brands.
