SAMSUNG HD501LJ - Without Serial Number

Hi to all,

Have a Samsung that the first time i could had ID and start cloning the disk, also made a head test with udma.

But afther this, i could not copy anymore.

So i try to change the PCB with some one of i had in stock, and now the disk do not appear the serial number ?

Anyone knows where can i found the problem?

Was there any bad sectors on a drive while imaging?
Maybe head/s have died.

The serial no. is not in the PCB but on the MC (service area) so I vote for some problem either on head(s) or on the MC itself.
