All that is created by human beings can be damaged. SSD will also break. Maybe even some other problems will appear, but each SSD won't work without any fault for many years.

This is a bit similar to cars - why not to make a faultless cars which will be running for 30-50 years without any need to fix something? The science progress is developed enough... Of course, the technologies are different there, but the tendecy is similar.
