I have a Philips External Hard disk which has a Seagate Momentus 5400.3 160GB ST9160821A in. Getting i/o error when I connect it to USB.
How can I fix this problem?

if you get this time only I/O error, this is the first stage of the death of this drive!
In this time, the recovery in any good lab is not expensive, but your drive have only minutes left, keep this in your mind....
If you play more to force the drive's head in the damaged area, your recovery price will be doubled or tripled, and the success rate is falls.
