Hi all, I've just found this forum, and it's great!
First of all, sorry for my english...

Some days ago my 320 Gb portable HDD fell to the ground.
Now, hearing its sound, it starts up, but after few seconds it beeps, then stops and restarts. And so on.
The drive isn't recognized from bios. I've tried also to remove it from the case and connect it directly to the mainboard. But it doesn't work.
After some researches on this forum I've understood that the problem could be something about bearings. I think there's no hope, but I make a last try:

There some hope to solve the problem DIY or I can use the disk as fresbee?
(I don't want to pay a pro to recover data, there aren't very important data...)

Thank you!
