Help. I'm a mac guy and I was doing something on my wife's pc with her external hard drive. A seagate 250gb (I think) with firmware revision 3.aae. Being a mac guy i tried to eject the disk by dragging it to the trash. Next time I plugged it in it says it needs to be initialized before use. I did not intialize it and I need to recover the files that are on it. Can someone take pity on a pc neophyte and walk me threw the steps. I'm an idiot when it comes to pc's but not an idiot generally so i'll get it the first time and not harass you. Please help before my wife kills me.

thanks
d
