Can a company state my hdd had a head crash and be totaly unreachble by simply opening the case and looking?
when i pushed them they stated that " if the first platter is scratched than everything is unreachable" that is an exact quote.

Typically, YES.
Did you ask them for a photo of the damage?

no, no photo.
so no data recovering whatsoever if first platter is scrathed?

It depends on how badly it is damaged. If the platter is badly damaged, you can forget about it.

what i am asking realy is. are there companies that will not deal with any kind of head crash, and sever and mild damage is all the same to them.

Yes. IMO there are companies that will open the drive , see a scratch on the plater and give up right away. Yes , depends on the damage there is a chance of partial recovery if u bring it to a good company.
