Maxtor DiamondMax 9 120GB ata/133 HDD

Hi all,

After some researching how to recover my data for my hard drive, I came across this forum, I hope someone can verify where the TVS and is removing it will allow me to retrieve my data.

Your board clearly has burned motor controller chip.
You will have to replace whole board.

Check your messages.

Your SMOOTH/MOTOR Chip is burnt/melted... You need a replacement PCB at least!!!!
