 Post subject: is the pcb worth changing? found one realy similar? 7200.11

i told in some threads that my seagate 7200.11 apread bricked then unbricked for a short while (very short).
something i neglected to say was that there was a lighting storm than night, the wost yet (winter only starts out here).
now hard drive clicks at start.

iv told that on other threads, but now, i came a cross this pcb:

Seagate ST3500320AS Barracuda 7200.11 HDD PCB/Logic Board. The Hard Disk Drive is not include.

Main Controller IC: ST V523C
HDD Motor Combo IC: 100369972
Cache Memory: 16MB
Board Number: 100466725
Firmware: SD15
Tested and Working on the following HDD:-
Seagate ST3500320AS Barracuda 7200.11 500GB SATA HDD
Model: ST3500320AS
P/N: 9BX154-303
Firmware: SD15
Date Code: 09245 Site Code: KRATSG

now this is my hard drive
model: ST3500320AS
p/n: 9bx154-501
Firmware: SD15
date code:09135 site code: KRATSG
board number: 10046897

should i even bother, seem like they are very much alike? its 30$.

You have big interest in Data Recovery and DR companies, and multiple cases of Data Recovery requirements. I get the feeling you are in the early stages of beginning your own DR firm, am i right?

no, just an iterest i got now.
i would never go into a buisness i dont have years of learning.
wouldnt be fair for people trusting thier data with me.
