I just obtained my DDI last week. I am wondering about a good case or form factor for an imaging station. I currently have just a Micro ATX tower case with the side panel off. I just run the IDE cables out the side and set the drives on the workbench. A few questions:

1. Anyone use a closed case with something like a hotswap drive bay (of course I am not planning a hotswap while imaging, but I mean a drive bay with a drawer that comes out so the drive can be changed without opening the case) for source/destination drives? Will using something like that affect the DDI's ability to image at all?

2. Anyone use drive cooling trays of some type even if if the drive is outside the case? Where is a good source for such things? Scott Moulton had some pictured in one of his presentations, but couldn't find them with Google. (I don't know if Mr Moulton's name is a dirty word around here. Everyone seems to have their own methods and some strongly dislike anyone with different methods than theirs)

3. Anyone willing to post some pictures of their imaging station to give me a few ideas for making mine more effective?

Good if you are switching out components a lot

new ones range in price between $130-$170 depending on where you look

You can also make something like that yourself if you are good with metal work.

I have mine connected to workstations with the side panel off. I'd rather not introduce a hotswap tray or similar, because it may add an extra controller into the system, I like to keep it simple with DDI.

I've considered more elaborate options, but keep it simple and it does the job. In saying that, if somebody else has any nice ideas, I'd love to hear
