HDD LLF - mismatch between disk number and disk informations

December 18th, 2009, 6:29

HDD LLF 2.36 build 1181
Windows XP Pro french - Version 2002 - SP 3
two HDD
no floppy ou Cdrom in the respectives drives
no USB key attached

Hello Everybody

The second drive (Maxtor) has a lot of bad sectors and I try to rescue it.
Data have been recovered.
So, it's more a kind of fun and training / learning purpose.

I just discovered HDD LLF and tried to use it.

Unfortunately, I had to abort the program :
- there are 2 HDD on the system
- I selected the disk # 2 on the first sreen (disk choice)
- the second screen's header and bottom display the right model, serial and capacity (disk #2 : Maxtor 6Y120L0 YAR41BW0 122,94 Gbytes)
- BUT the details are from the disk #1 (WD drive )

See attached screen's copies.

So, what's the problem ?

Thanks and regards
